Glasgow Indie Games Festival
We really want to highlight and give some extra attention to this awesome event!
Not much longer before the anticipated Glasgow Indie Games Festival is around! And what a lineup of games, demos and talks they have this year let me tell you! From learning about the importance of mods by Daniel Morrison Neil, listening to Clair Moorwood discuss craft mediums in games art, to fantastic performances by Siobhan Wilson, Calum Rodger and GGs, there surely is something for everyone.
And of course the Best in Show Award cannot be missed! You get to cast your vote for which was your favourite game, so the community decides! Of all the great games that will be exhibited, which one will take the top? Perhaps it will be Blank Key’s Farewell North, a 3D exploration game where you are accompanied by a Border Collie exploring the northern isles of Scotland? Or maybe Ritual of Raven by Spellgarden Games, a cosy pixel farming game with something extra? From point and click games like Katanalevy’s Daemonologie, roguelike dungeon crawlers such as Orc Face Games’ HarleQuest, or 2D retro exploration games like How A Body Sounds by Yami Kurae, this show is packed with exciting games to try! To see which games will all be featured, keep having a daily peek at the Glasgow Indie Games Festivals’s Instagram, X and Bluesky where they are slowly revealing the full breadth of fantastic titles.
This will surely be an event not to be missed! Grab a friend or family member, get some last tickets if you can and join the fun in a couple of week’s time. More information on their website and tickets can be found below!
