A slow news month, but exciting things on the horizon
The news have ebbed, but the fantastic events continue! This spring and summer is truly shaping up to be an exciting one with many, many events to keep us busy! Don’t miss any of them and check them out below!
ScotCreate has some, hopefully, exciting plans in the works and many things we want to work on, so keep an eye out! As usual, if you have anything you would like to share, be it games you are releasing, events you are organising or something else, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Pine Hearts
Pine Hearts, by the fantastic Hyper Luminal Games, is a sweet and adorable exploration game where you guide Tyke to travel the beautiful Pine Hearts Caravan Park. Meet the other visitors, solve puzzles and slowly uncover the story and memories of Tyke. With a wonderfully crafted story and fantastic whimsical vibes, Pine Heart should be on your list to play!

Organised by the fantastic HubWorld Scotland Playapalooza invites you to come along and play some fantastic games! Whether you just want to play or meet some new people and have a drink, or maybe both, this is your evening to have some fun and support such events!
Video Games Music in Concert by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra - 31st May 2024 (Edinburgh)/ 1st June 2024 (Glasgow)
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra presents Video Games Music in Concert! Don’t you love music in games? The nostalgia of the Pokémon theme, the hair raising chills of Dark Souls boss music, the serenity of Stardew Valley farming tunes and so much more?
Although these might not be the tunes picked and played at this event (but who knows), you still do not want to miss having video game music performed by a fantastic symphony orchestra!
ACME ComicCon Dundee - 15th June 2024 (Dundee)
ACME is back again with yet another fantastic ComicCon planned in Dundee! Whether it is comics, manga and anime, cosplay competitions, retro games and more, this event is a fantastic day-out for the whole family! Go meet some special guests, check out the vendors or just have a stroll around, ACME has all the fabulous geeky and nerdy things you could want!
KitPlus - 18th June (Glasgow)
The KitPlus show is coming back to Scotland, Glasgow after its success from last year and you can join! Focussing on all things broadcasting and media technology, broadcasting and production, esports and gaming, education and much more, the KitPlus show is a must-attend for anyone interested in this thriving industry! With many exhibitors and talks happening on the day, we highly recommend attending if you can! And the best of all: attendance is free, just register on their website!
Video Games Day - 6th July (Aberdeen)
The Aberdeen Video Games Day is back on this year at Pittodrie Stadium in July! For all things gaming, retro games, free tournaments and more, this is your event!

Game On - 29th June to 3rd November 2024 (Edinburgh)
For a little bit over 4 months the National Museum of Scotland is inviting enthusiasts to their Game On exhibition about the creative and technological advances in games. This interactive exhibition will allow you to play games and explore many different ways in which games and consoles have evolved and changed!
Glasgow Anime and Gaming Con - 6th July 2024 / 7th July 2024 (Glasgow)
Anime and games, what more could you ask for? Are you a cosplayer and want to participate in a Cosplay Masquerade? Do you love lip sync battles, talent shows, anime bingo, quizzes and more? Well then this is the place for you! Activities, anime, cosplay, boardgames, RPGs are all included!
Glasgow Independent Games Festival - 20th July 2024 (Glasgow)
Formerly known as Southside Games Festival, the newly renamed Glasgow Independent Games Festival invites you for a day of games, meeting like-minded folks and lots of fun. Showcasing all things indie, this festival will be an exciting event for all to enjoy with many talks, music and of course games!

The 82nd World Science Fiction Convention is coming for the third time to Glasgow this year! With fantastic speakers and many events around anything science fiction this is the conference for anyone interested in books, TV shows, games and more!
